  9. IMPORTANT:
  10.     these diffs contain a few diffs other than the ones for atari.
  11.     these are bug fixes needed for any m68k host (and other for expressions)
  12.     see the file POST for details.

  14. gas-1.38 requires library PatchLevel 46 or better. of you dont have it
  15. please get it from dsrgsun.ces.cwru.edu first.
  16.  
  17. gas-1.38 uses _stksize == -1L. please dont change it.

  20. This directory contains the context diff files and additional files required
  21. to build gcc-as for atariST Gcc or for the unix hosted cross development
  22. system. The diff are with respect to gas v 1.38
  23.  
  24.     Use Makefile.cross to make gcc-as for the cross development system.
  25.     (both cross-minix and cross-tos use the same gas).
  26.  
  27.     Use Makefile.cminix to make gcc-as for minix using the
  28.     cross-development system or your native minix-gcc.
  29.  
  30.     Use Makefile.st to make gcc-as for Tos/Gemdos using the
  31.     cross-development system/or your native tos-gcc.
  32.  
  33. Adjust $(CROSSDIR) appropriately in the make files.
  34.  
  35. INSTALLATION:
  36.  - copy all the files from the gas v1.38 distribution in a directory GAS-SRC.
  37.  - copy all the files from this directory into the GAS-SRC directory.
  38.  - apply the diffs using larry walls patch program
  39.     patch < gas-diff
  40.  - edit the Makefiles to specify $(CROSSDIR) appropriately.
  41.  - make a link called m68k.h to m-generic.h
  42.  - hit make.
